Hardware and lifesavers

Off to the hardware store early on Saturday morning for another few odds and ends, and were met just outside the front door of Bunnings by a Queensland lifesaver and his fully decked out little mate. The past weekend was their annual fund raising activity - they are all volunteers, get very little assistance from State or Federal Governments, and do an absolutely incredible job - up here, it's 12 months of the year. Couldn't resist the effort this lifesaver and his little mate had made to gather some much needed funds.
