Burleigh Beach again - the sand erosion from the high rough seas along the coast is quite horrific, the vertical cliff left after beach erosion is called a "scarp", one of the reasons why all the beaches are closed, and being guarded closely. Some scarps are over 3 meters high - most dangerous at night!
A lot of our beaches have table and bench settings, carved out of wonderful local wood in similar shape to surfboards - they haven't been in high demand for the last few days!!
An aerial shot of Surfers Paradise beach (or lack of) taken yesterday!
