The Brig (blue and white) stepping it out along the sand
Reflections were great again today - even the high rises shone in the sand
At 8.30 a.m. we met up with Gail and Steve - the boys sat and talked with little "scruff" their dog, while Gail and I attended our first Tai Chi class (offered free) at Burleigh Beach. ******

Received some great news when we arrived home - our God Daughter, Lynne and her husband, Brian, have just had a little boy in New Hampshire - they have called him Greyson Henry (after Grandpa Henry), a little brother for the 4 year old twins, Dylan and Owen.

We have seen two great films in the past week - The King's Speech, and Tamara Drewe. Thoroughly enjoyed both of them, it was raining outside.
We were sad to hear of Ken Olsen's death, Ken actually founded Digital Equipment Corporation in an old Mill in Maynard, Massachusetts in 1957 - 3 employees. By the mid 80's there were 125,000 employees in 86 countries. At this stage Digital (DEC) was the second largest computer maker in the world, behind IBM. Frank spent the majority of his working life with Digital in the UK, USA and Australasia, and I also worked for them in the UK. Of course some of our close friends of today were employed by DEC for many years.
