Moving on to 60

On Saturday night about 14 of us met to have dinner with Gail and Steve before they take off for 5 months in the Caravan - we will meet them down in the Snowy Mountains in November. Anyway for some time now they, well Steve in particular, have been cackling at those of us who have passed the 60 mark - but both of them turn 60 in September and October - and of course they were hoping we would all forget in their absence.

Not a chance, they turned up to the Coolangatta Surf Club where there were some appropriately marked balloons to greet them. Saturday's sunset was brilliant at its peak - looking across to Surfers Paradise Those balloons just followed them around

Steve's face shows his horror when Auntie Beryl's Birthday cake appears - with the appropriate candles all lit up. She is just reminding her only daughter and son in law that their "Senior" time is approaching soon.

Her baby, Ash on the left is next, but not for some time.

A fun night - for the approaching Seniors!!!

Auntie Beryl and Mum's eldest sister - Auntie Inez (Susan and Roslyn's Mum)turns 97 in Sydney tomorrow!
