Last night the VIVID SYDNEY Festival commenced in Sydney - with the Lighting of the Sails. Just so many designs and colours - stunning really.!! Many artistic and creative souls will use Sydney as a canvas for amazing light installations, beautiful music and creative ideas. This relatively new annual Festival runs from 27th May to 21st June. Below are just a very few photos of last night's display - thought they may interest many of our friends who have visited Sydney.
There were so many other lighting colours and displays during the night. 
And Macquarie Street is also lit up, am hoping to get some photos of that tomorrow. Sort've feel we should look for an el cheapo flight to go down to Sydney and witness this ourselves!

Have just seen the photos - please can this be part of out 'visit' next year? Brilliant and so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, I will get the dates for next year, so you can arrange your arrival flight around it, should be the end of May again, runs for 2 or 3 weeks. This time of year up here in Queensland has been brilliant.
