Early morning in Santa Margherita

Well it rained all night, however thought we would go for an early morning walk. Went downstairs and it was still drizzling - Frank chose to go to the lounge and read, and I joined up with another couple of girls, and we decided to walk (with cameras) - as soon as we stepped out of the hotel - the drizzling just stopped.

Our hotel overlooked the Santa Margherita harbour

and had quite a few little beaches along the front

separated by their colourful beach huts or changing sheds

We were a quite taken with all these little sand "hills" on the BLUE beach

and then we spied 2 men raking, sweeping and making tiny hills

This colourful area below is for use by our Hotel's guests. By the time we fiddled around taking so many photos We had reached the Marina and the sun had risen, the sky was now blue!

Back to the hotel for breakfast, then into town to check it out.
