Day 1 for the Kiwi Wroes on the Gold Coast

Well the plane arrived about half and hour late, fog delayed take off in Auckland, but the sun greeted them on the Gold Coast.  Immy apparently dressed for the take off and flight the night before - she still remembers Singapore, clothes first and pyjamas on top.  Ian picked up the van, identical in make and colour to the one they have in Auckland.  Kids seats fitted and off we drove up the Gold Coast Highway to Broadwater.  The cabin is really well set up, and the first port of call was the heated pool right in front of their cabin.

Ethan now swims back and forth across the pool - has been awarded for a 25 metre swim

Off to Dinosaur Island

As they roared and moved

Immy said "they are real"

A quick ride on the horses

Then Dora the Explorer

Hands up from the Wroes

Ethan takes to the air

Then to the Dolphin Show

Next - the Pirate ships

Immy and Mum take on the high marathon wall

But Dan and we stick to the ships - think that is Dad on board!

Yep, that's him firing water at us

and Ethan

Now it's Dad and Immy's turn to get hit with our water cannon

Mum came to help

Got them

They are soaking

It's 5 pm (7pm Auckland time)

Back to the cabin

Via the sting rays

and hopefully a good nights sleep - they were up at 4 am.
